HDD Wont Be Recognised!
I'm an 81 yr old pensioner, I can't afford another external hard drive especially when it works well on Windows 7. Awesome, it's fixed. Plug your removable drive into your computer. my question is - i have recently bought a seagate backup plus slim 1 TB model. This problem can be caused by partition issues on your external drive, using the wrong file system, dead USB ports, driver issues in Windows, or other problems. What are the chances, it is brand new! In the Administrative Tools window, double-click on the Computer Management icon. I lost years worth of photos because of this one step I did. On Macs, the drive should automatically appear on the desktop.
