Hi everyone.
would take too long if i explain evrything... i will explain it chronographically. I'll try to be clear and quick.
1. got my zune 80g 2 days ago.
2. today i got sudden restart , then the "zune must erase all content" error.
3. no matter how many times i try to click OK, it will restart again and send the same error.
4. i used the < + ^, no luck.
5. then i tried to erase all content from zune, using < + play (number 4 screen). after it was done, same problem appeared (zune must erase all content)
6. then i tried to erase everything including the firmware, using the < + center + play. it did the full erase (number 5 screen).
7. the zune restarted, and asked me to connect to pc.
8. connected to pc and this appeared: "your zune is full, not enough space, couldnt be restored" C00D124F
9. at this point please dont tell me to do the registry trick or patch it to see in in my computer. i already did this and there is nothing else i can do other than watching empty folders.
9.1. in case you were wondering, i cant make the reserved space larger because with the error, i cannot acces to zune, only to FW updating windows. I receive a very friendly message: "to view is option, please connect your zune" uhm, my zune is already connected.
10. unistalled zune software, reinstalled again. erased zune content again.
11. this time the update was done, the zune started, guess what? "error, zune must erase all content"
The only way to turn off my zune is pressing < + ^, then lock it. This is driving me mad, i bought a pair of $200 westones and not able to try em out yet with the zune.
