Not only does my receiver not support multichannel analog audio input but I have a perfectly good solution (S/PDIF) sitting right here. Since every current game based on the source engine is considered stable, is support for headphones and 5.1 even considered ? I then setup my speakers fo 5.1 which they all tested fine. Games often have options specifically for Sound Blaster cards and/or surround sound. Not sure what it's actually doing in that case - just providing a physical digital interface to your computer?
