Hard Drive Doesn't Show Up In BIOS
Join our forums …maybe some of the other techs will have ideas. Up until yesterday I used to have only Drive nº1 connected to the computer, but today I tried to connect both of them and now the BIOS only detects Drive nº2 Do I have the SATA cable attached to the correct connector?Do I need to mess around with jumpers oranythingelse on the drive or the motherboard?Am I missing something else obvious? As a last ditch effort, you could plug the drive into a different SATA port on the MB, making sure it's not related to that. have a peek here

If the Hard Drive is detected, one of the SATA ports on the motherboard is bad.
