I CAN'T BELIEVE IT...! When I go into device management I do not see any error messages. If the drive does appear to be partitioned, it may be partitioned with the wrong file system. The problem is that when I plug it in it is first recognized (at least it sees something) and then it goes away (with the corresponding sound).
